For an assignment, we had to create a small scene with multiple objects laying around and the like. I decided to go with Star Wars again, since I love it so much. Anyway, I didn't want to draw an array of lightsabers, not yet, so I decided to go with something a bit more out there.
I used two different downloaded images of the Tusken Raider/Sandpeople's Gaderffi, also known as Gaffi Sticks. They were used in the films and I find them pretty cool. I used Strata 3D, just like with all my other drawings. The two Gaffi sticks are very different; one is all wood, and shorter, while the second is longer and made with metal, as well as a different design entirely.
The ground plain is simply rocky; it's supposed to represent two Gaffi Sticks down on the ground on the rocky plains of the Tatooine deserts. I hope you all liked them, all critique welcomed!
Update: May 13 2008: I finished the drawing. Beneath the Gaffi Sticks is a blanket. Next to the blanket are a Tusken Rifle and a Tusken Raider Mask.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
